We’re aware of an issue that may be causing a small number of schools to disconnect intermittently from the network. This is due to certain access points rebooting as a result of an issue we are currently experiencing with ageing Ruckus R600 equipment. A reboot can cause a disconnection from the network of up to a few minutes and then usually self-resolves.
As a precaution, we recommend that schools offering NCEA Online be prepared to make alternative arrangements, such as proceeding with paper-based exams.
