An exploit is now publicly available for a previously identified SonicWall device vulnerability.
This vulnerability impacts SonicWall SMA 100 series devices which organisations use to provide designated users with remote access to organisational resources. You can read more about the vulnerability here.
Exploitation of the vulnerability could allow malicious actors to perform a remote code execution and take control of the impacted device. While we’ve seen information circulating regarding this exploit, we haven’t seen any evidence that the vulnerability is actively being exploited at this time.
However, if your school uses any SonicWall SMA 100 series devices, you should update these devices with the SonicWall patches as soon as possible – you can find information on these here.
