Work has continued this morning, weather has impeded progress, but an alternate workaround is now being attempted – we have a new estimate of resolution of prior to 2pm today.

Work on the cable needed to be abandoned last night due to health and safety reasons, work continues this morning. We apologise for the continuing impact to your school.

Unfortunately it is taking longer to resolve the fault than anticipated and work will continue this evening, we are still hopeful of service restoration for the start of the school day tomorrow. Next update tomorrow morning.

The fibre cut has been confirmed as caused by a landslip, techs are on site and we have been given an estimated time to resolve of 7pm

N4L are aware of a number of schools that have lost connection in the Coromandel and Bay of Plenty Region. At this stage we strongly suspect a fibre cut but are awaiting confirmation of this. We will update this page with information as we become aware of developments.
