Creative Commons Aotearoa is hitting the road, taking the message about Creative Commons (CC) to 18 centres across the country. The focus is on schools and those working in schools, but they’re also presenting to galleries, libraries and museums.
Here at N4L we’re stoked to be joining the Road Trip, to share what CC means in the real world and the difference it can make to teachers and students in NZ schools.
In Pond, we want copyright of content to be handled seriously and with due care. We want educators to see real value in how a CC license on their own work can empower and enable so much more.
In the spirit of the collaboration and sharing that is critical to the establishment and ongoing nature of the Pond community, we encourage making content that you create in Pond available for others to use under CC or a similar license.
It is important that those in the Pond community respect and uphold the rights of all content providers and creators, and we’ve made it easy to clearly state the ownership and usage rights for any content you upload.
We’re looking forward to supporting the conversation about what CC is, and the difference it can make in content creation and sharing. First stop Wellington!
