The issue re-occurred causing a temporary drop this morning (schools are back up at present). We have engineers investigating.

We have confirmed that the issue is due to a fibre cut. Engineers continue to work on the fault. We still do not have a formal estimated time to repair but we expect the fault to last at least a couple of more hours, so we do not anticipate restoration before the end of the school day.

The incident is due to a suspected fibre cut. Engineers are enroute to the impacted area to confirm the cause and begin repairs. We have no estimated time to repair at this time.

We are aware of a number of schools in the Queenstown and Wanaka region that are experiencing a loss of internet. Our engineers are investigating the cause of this and once established will work to remedy the issue. We will continue to update this website as more information comes to hand.
