We are pleased to share that Carolyn Stuart, Education Sector Lead here at N4L, has been appointed to the Creative Commons Aotearoa New Zealand Advisory Panel for a two year term.
“I was absolutely delighted to be appointed to the panel. Ensuring organisations have sound policies and practices in place to enable the legal sharing of resources is critical into today’s highly digital environment,” Carolyn says.
“New Zealand teachers have always been good at sharing their ideas with others. Most teachers don’t realise that without a sharing policy in their schools they should not be sharing any of their professional knowledge with others.
I am hoping that my presence on the Creative Commons Aotearoa New Zealand Advisory Panel will assist in getting more schools to actively manage the sharing of resources by their staff.”
