This week is the first week of the Make a Splash programme and we’ve had such an amazing response with enrolment from schools up and down the country streaming in. Starting us off with 10 schools leaping into the programme this week.
With these first schools beginning the programme this week and more to follow over the next fortnight, we are seeing lots of enthusiasm via twitter and the feedback within Pond itself. From departments to whole schools, we’re seeing teachers come into Pond in a flurry.
The Make a Splash programme is a 6 week self manage program that schools run themselves, working through a focused feature each week to build an understanding of Pond and its capabilities. With a new video every week to guide users through the features and tasks assigned, participants should finish the 6 weeks feeling confident and ready to use Pond in their planning and resourcing.
All of this follows successful sessions at ULearn and in Connected Educator Month.
This programme will run into 2015 with schools (or parts of a school) being able to enrol to participate via our website (editor note 20 Jan 2016: this link has been removed as it is no longer relevant). To access Pond, all users must have an Education Sector Logon with Pond entitlements. If you have an e-asTTle login, this should automatically give you the right entitlements.
So, what are you waiting for? Jump into Pond, have a look around and then sign your team up for the Make a Splash programme
